In the dark.

The sun falls on everything,

bushel, four legs, man.

Yet, it does not harm.

Its soothing love is like a mirror of affection

Tender, and at times punishing.

Yet no one would fly into the sky

and kiss it by its lips.

No one would settle into an embrace

And hug it around its waist.

It carries the world with it.

Expectations.

So much that it is starting to bend and its shine is now looking dull.

The sun shines, but may not shine forever.

It notices that you do not look at it.

It is exhausted.

Tired of carrying too much.

It turns to you for help

But you have abandoned the shine.

Betrayed it may feel

Betrayed everything is
